Waveguide Twisted Section
Description
The twist waveguide is designed to rotate the waveguide polarization while maintaining a continuous rectangular waveguide interface.
It is suitable for microwave and millimeter-wave transmission systems where orientation adjustment is required without changing the waveguide routing.

Polarization Control: Our twist waveguides are engineered specifically to rotate the waveguide polarization plane by 45° or 90° within a minimal physical length. The transition is mathematically optimized and smooth to prevent internal reflections and higher-order mode generation, ensuring a low Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (≤1.15) and optimal return loss across the entire operational frequency bands.
Advanced Seamless Brazing Technology: To achieve flawless mechanical integrity at millimeter-wave and sub-millimeter wave frequencies, we utilize high-precision brazing techniques. By matching high-quality copper tubes with precise brass flanges (such as UG-387/U-M), we eliminate structural misalignments and micro-gaps at the joints, effectively avoiding RF leakage and phase errors during high-frequency transmission.
Premium Metallization & Anti-Oxidation: To combat skin depth effects at higher frequencies (such as WR-3, WR-4, and WR-5 bands), the internal surfaces are meticulously prepared and coated with high-purity Gold Plating or Silver Plating. This ultra-smooth internal finish significantly reduces insertion loss, ensures low surface roughness(Ra),and guarantees long-term reliable RF performance in demanding radar, telecom, and laboratory instrumentation setups.
Custom Engineering Capabilities: Beyond our standard 45° and 90° configurations, we offer full OEM/ODM customization. We can customize unique twist angles, extended waveguide lengths, and specific flange styles (including UG-style and customized alignment pins) to seamlessly integrate into your complex system layouts and test manifolds.
